Hey, I’m Atila.

I’m a writer and creator. I’m Black, femme, queer, from New York and now live in Philly.

Most days, that looks like writing with too many tabs open, a Notion scratch page that will get the business, and a comfort show like Star Trek or The Twilight Zone on in the background.

This blog is my studio log: what I’m making, what I’m learning, and what helps me finish things.

🪐 Saturn University

Saturn University is where I write down the systems that keep me steady. Notion setups, self-made curriculum, and “here’s what actually worked” routines. Expect walkthroughs you can copy, notes from the messy middle, and practical frameworks for finishing what you start without burning out.

✍️ Writing Corner

Writing Corner is my craft desk. Process notes, planning, and progress check-ins, plus whatever I am actively building (including Project Thalorim and NaNo 2026, tagged as Series inside this Section). Spoiler-safe, momentum-friendly, and honest about the part where you are still figuring it out.

💜 Borderline Successful

Borderline Successful is a podcast in prelaunch. For now, I am building the foundation in public through a blog series. Think of these posts as the deep lore before the season. They can later become scripts, topics, or resources for the show.

📚 Book Talk

Book Talk is exactly what it sounds like. I read a book, then I talk about it. This is where I reflect, digest, and figure out what I think while I am still close to the story. Expect reaction writing, quotes I am carrying around, and notes that help me remember what mattered, not just what happened.

📺 Media Study

Media Study is where I take stories and platforms seriously. Reviews, deep dives, and cultural commentary on what media (and the internet itself) are doing to us, and to me. Expect pattern-spotting, tenderness, side-eyes, and the occasional “okay, but why did this hit so hard?”

🎧 Music Corner

Music Corner is my studio soundtrack log. Playlists, listening check-ins, and whatever I have on repeat while I write, work, or recalibrate. Lighter on analysis and heavier on vibe. A recurring “what’s playing in the studio” loop you can come back to.

🔮 Witchy Ways

Witchy Ways is astrology and tarot as grounded reflection, not prediction theater. Timing, check-ins, and gentle rituals that help me pay attention to my life and make choices on purpose. Think reflective prompts, planning with the sky, and tools for returning to myself.

🧾 Field Notes

Field Notes is the studio ops corner. Updates, admin, follow-ups, and “here’s what’s up” posts when I need a place to be real and direct. It’s where the behind-the-scenes lives, and it gives the rest of the work context.

Project Thalorim is the novel project lane: worldbuilding + planning + drafting pipeline. Spoiler-safe, momentum-friendly, and focused on building the work brick by brick.

🧿 Tarot Corner

Tarot Corner is tarot as grounded self-reflection. Spreads, check-ins, and readings that help me name what’s true, find the pattern, and choose what to do next.

🌙 Lunar Intentions

Lunar Intentions is one moon post per month: the month’s lunar dates plus intentions, and a gentle end-of-month integration.
