Halloween is the only holiday that I really care to recognize (unless you count grabbing a beer with the coven on Walpurgis Night). This month is all about repetition, we'll be creating a simple pattern using whatever materials you prefer. Once the pattern is established, introduce one small variation: a splash of color, a discordant note,

The best part of the Year of Projects, for me, is seeing these projects slowly start to land in my inbox every month. From wishful thinking, to the passing of a good pup, to moments of zen, everyone delivered great shadows! If you found art in the shadows around you

This month's project highlights the dark side, focusing on the use of shadows as your material. That which casts the shadow can be anything you choose, I just

This month we will be making something that will placed in a public location (anonymous or not). Your submission can be made of any material, but it should have at

This month we've got a project submission that will get you outside and back to nature (whatever that looks like wherever you are). The output can be whatever you like: a mask, a mandala, wind chimes, Wicker Man... anything. The only rule: your materials have to be found in nature.

This month we're tackling another suggested project: we'll be making a zine. This month I am asking you to create zine with at least 8 pages (include front and back cover) that explore any topic/theme that you choose.
