Introductions

The title of this post seems a little weird. Mostly because I think anybody that's reading this probably already knows me. This is also approximately my 9 billionth attempt at starting (or re-starting!) and then attempting to maintain a blog, so there might even just be some readers that are vaguely familiar with me. This is the first time that I'm really legitimately publishing to the “Atmosphere” though, so an introductory post is probably warranted.

I'm jiggyflyjoe. As you can probably sus out, my actual name is Joe, but you can also refer to me as jiggy. People on the internet often misread that name as “jiggly,” which is factually incorrect, but THEE Felicia Day once told me in one of the livestreams on her Twitch channel that it was what “my mother named me,” so I guess it's okay, too. Much like Felicia, I'm also a gamer, content creator, and blogger! I'm also something of a media enthusiast, doing my best to consume movies, shows, music, and more like an absolute madman. I'm also constantly learning about web development, coding, programming, and technology in general in my best efforts to break into the tech or gaming industry someday. I also love animals, including my four handsome feline children: Tigger, Rufus, Cinnamon, and Inky. They are genuinely my pride and joy!

What kind of content will you see me writing about? Mostly about those things that I'm most interested in: gaming, tech, creating, media, content creation, web dev, coding, and sometimes maybe even a personal story or two about my cats! I'm attempting to make this space a little less personal than most of my blogs have eventually devolved into, but honestly, I think one of my biggest strengths and one of my biggest weaknesses is that I put a lot of me into everything that I do. But ideally, this will be less “thoughts and feelings” and more “here's something interesting.” Make what you will of that!
