Perfume I'm Wearing This Fall (2026)

Intro

It's FALL!!!! And finally cool enough where I live to start actually feeling like fall!!!

Gray and white fluffy cat in a red and black plaid harness with a leash, standing against a tree. There are dead leaves on the ground.

^ Wild creature, roaming the dangerous woods, completely alone.

Wanted to make a quick fall blog about some of my favorite fall perfumes these days!! This time with some LIMITED EDITION perfumes 😳...

If you'd only like to check out perfume you can buy (understandable), all the perfume in my top 10 list of 2025 should be available:

About this List

The following perfumes are:

  • Made by an independent house (as in: not owned by a larger company)
  • Cruelty-free (as far as I'm aware)

Key

  • LIMITED: No longer available, but could return (usually seasonally).
  • SEASONAL: Typically sells at least a few months a year.
  • UNAVAILABLE: House is closed for whatever reason.
  • EDP: I use this here to describe any perfume that has alcohol in a spray bottle.
  • Oil: Oil based perfumes - probably roll-ons without alcohol.

Fall Perfumes

In order of... time? Weather (warm to cold)???

Note: I recommend trying as samples before buying full size wherever possible! I've definitely discovered some perfumes that just don't work on my skin lol.

Poesie - Anne (SEASONAL - Oil)

Notes: carrot cake with cinnamon and pecans and cream cheese frosting

It's carrot cake!! Pretty strong cinnamon, sweet but not too sweet. The cream cheese does actually come through to me!! I'd describe the cream cheese as a little tart and salty; I think it helps the perfume feel not too cloying.

My partner thought it smelled like "candy apple."🤔

Sorce - Ephemera (EDP)

Notes: Fresh carved pumpkin, brown sugar, notebook paper, black soil, acorns, vanilla absolute, cashmere, milky musk

A more subtle, light fall scent -- strong brown sugar/vanilla and paper, followed by cashmere and then light musk. The pumpkin is subtle and a bit more vegetal. I feel like this is a good one for the office!

Death and Floral - Pumpkin Boooudh (UNAVAILABLE - EDP/Oil)

Notes: Dark pumpkin mash topped with golden vanilla, a blend of ghostly white oudh, black oudh, and dry woody oudh

Complete opposite of Ephemera - VERY strong mix of pumpkin, vanilla, and OUDH. I loooove this one but it's definitely an acquired taste hahaha.

If you wanna try out a scent with vanilla and oudh with a biiit less oudh, Solstice Scent's Manor is a nice woody one!

BPAL - Dark Macademia (LIMITED - Oil)

Notes: Roasted macadamia, dry papery musk of time-worn tomes bound in crackled leather, golden drips of beeswax, polished teakwood shelves, smoky warmth of fireplace smoke

Super nutty, pretty sweet! The "dry papery musk" smells pretty similar to vanilla initially before drying down and mixing with the wood. The smoke isn't super strong and also comes out more during the dry down. (Also I love the name for this one lol)

I kinda wanna try reading some dark academia books while wearing this one if anyone has any recommendations! I loved R. F. Kuang's Babel.

Solstice Scents - Foxcroft (SEASONAL - Oil)

Notes: Decaying Leaves, Rich Black Soil, Dry Leaves, Fall Air, Woods, Chimney Smoke

I usually save this one for cloudy days, it's a very earthy petrichor scent with a focus on leaves and soil. The smoke doesn't really come through to me, and it eventually has an unexpected sort of sweet scent after it dries down. It's not a bad sweet scent, just surprising and hard to explain haha.

Very atmospheric rainy fall day scent.

For Strange Women - London Fog (Oil)

Notes: black tea / bergamot / vanilla / cream / honey

One of my favorite perfumes of all time!! (And my partner's!)

Prominent bergamot top notes, but by and large, this is london fog on your skin, it's almost earthy in a way that is really hard to explain, the cream and honey are very subtle if at all noticeable. Every time I smell this I remember the time I opened a big jar of earl gray tea leaves and took a sniff haha.

I wear this a lot at home just to relax and get cozy at night/while reading. The cool part about this house is that it's women-owned and their perfumes are all natural too!
