Slight Return
Voodoo Chile (and its "(Slight Return)" version) is a 1968 Jimi Hendrix Experience song acting as a supernatural, blues-inspired "brag" or creation myth. It blends Chicago blues tradition with sci-fi, psychedelic imagery to represent a "voodoo child" as a magical, otherworldly, or cosmically controlled figure. "Chile" is a phonetic spelling of "child."

I’ve come TOO FAR! The Curl, just below the peak where the wave is steepest and beginning to break is on the horizon.
