90s Day Till The End of the Year

It's actually less than 90 days till the end of the year but whatever. I've been super busy in the last couple of weeks to the point that it's actually upsetting. I'm tried of doing stuff, I wanna do nothing! Unfortunately there are also things that I want to get done so I can't just say fuck it and take the rest of the year off.

Somehow I have started back working on Hot off the Press after having not worked on it for about two years. I actually printed out the whole 114 pages of the current document and have started taking a red pen to it. I'm not saying I'm going but I am seriously thinking about getting it more "professionally" looked at and maybe trying to crowdfund a print edition? If I do that it will be a 2027 plan. Or maybe a 2029 so I can say that I worked on the game for a full decade.

I can't believe Hot off the Press came into being in 2019! So long ago. It was one of, if not the first TTRPG that I think I ever worked on and published. The other being It's Dangerous to Go Alone - Take This which was something I was supposed to be working on an update for this year that somehow didn't happen. We do have 90ish days left in the year so it could actually still happen. I as always live in infinite hope at my ability to follow through and finish things.

I have a handful of blog post in various states of work that I also want to finish before the end of the year. The biggest two being my recap of my experiences at Vans Warped Tour Long Beach and my return to Dragon Con in Atlanta. I low key regret that I didn't film for a vlog for either of those events. Hindsight is 20/20 you know. The Dragon Con post will probably be coming pretty soon as I'm doing it as a speed run of my time instead of a longer in depth look at the convention, mostly because I didn't take that good or many detailed notes while I was there but instead just tried to enjoy my time at the convention. I will be doing better than that when I got to PAX Unplugged in December, on top of filming for a vlog.

I'm trying to think of what else I want to get done between now and the end of the year but I don't think there are that many things in all honesty. Mostly because I don't want over commit myself. I am shocked that I've made it through this whole year without hitting that terrible state of burnout where I wallow in bed for days at a time or in the shower for a double digit amount of hours. And theres only 90ish days left in the year so lets make it the whole year? That would be amazing you know.
