Oops All Monks: Session 0
Had a great Session 0 last night for the upcoming Oops All Monks! campaign. I like the setup that we all have 3 levels of some other class and then came to the monastery to improve ourselves in some way and become monks.
Looks like the party is going to have:
- Lupine (wolf boy) Phantom Rogue / Shadow Monk
- Draconic Sorcerer / Sun Soul Monk
- Twilight Cleric / Shadow Monk
- Gloom Stalker Ranger / Shadow Monk
- Sweet Science Pugilist / Pestilent Haze Monk
- Noble Genies Paladin / Kensei Monk
Half the party being Shadow Monks is pretty fun too - it's been teased that the BBEG will be a former student at the monastery that went bad and he's a Shadow Monk too. Could make for some very interesting storytelling.
We'll be trekking through a jungle largely away from any large city. So there will be opportunities for Monk Shenanigans like running up trees and stuff once we are able to do that.
Gonna be 10 sessions, every other week starting 5/11. Aiming for level 9 at the end (3 previous life levels, 6 monk levels)
Excited for it to start, and it's cool my dad is joining me on this one.
